As part of our expanding range of Pet Shampoo's, this shampoo has been specifically designed for Guinea pigs to help control most common parasites such as Static Lice, Mites, Ticks & Fleas. Can be used as often as required, simply gently wet the animal, use a 10p size amount massage all over particularly the hind quarters and leave for 5 minutes, then rinse , dry and brush. This Shampoo can be used on other small mammals such as Rabbits, Chinchilla, Rats etc. Completely safe and effective. Not recommended for use on Cats.
Static Lice, Mites, Ticks and Fleas are a common problem with small mammals, especially those that live with or in close proximity to other animals. External parasites are difficult to control with conventional preparations that are administered orally or by injection. Static Lice do not live on the animals skin and do not feed on the host animals blood supply. They live on the hair and derive nourishment from the protein in the hair itself.
Farriers Lice & Mite Shampoo contains and ingredient derived from the Chrysanthemum plant. It works by paralysing the Lice and Mites on contact rendering them unable to move and they die within 24 hours. This shampoo is completely safe for your pets and no ingredients are enter the animals system.
DIRECTION FOR USE:
Your animals can be bathed in the usual manor. Wet the animal with luke warm clean water. Pour a little shampoo into the palm of your hand and gently shampoo the entire animal. Work the lather well into to coat and make sure all the hair is covered. Leave the shampoo on for 5 minutes before rinsing off with clean water. If the coat is particularly greasy, reapply shampoo again. Once rinsed off, towel dry or use a low heat hair dryer.
