Static Lice, Mites, Ticks and Fleas are a common problem with small mammals, especially those that live with or in close proximity to other animals. External parasites are difficult to control with conventional preparations that are administered orally or by injection. Static Lice do not live on the animals’ skin and do not feed on the host animal’s blood supply. They live on the hair and derive nourishment from the protein in the hair itself.

Farriers Mite Shampoo contains a safe ingredient which works by paralysing the Lice and Mites on contact, rendering them unable to move and they die within 24 hours. This shampoo and spray is completely safe for your pets and no ingredients are to enter the animal’s system.

DIRECTIONS:

The shampoo can be used as often as required. Gently wet the animal and, using a liberal amount of shampoo, massage all over particularly the hind quarters and leave for 5 minutes, then rinse well, dry gently (low setting hairdryer if your piggy allows) and brush well.

The Mite spray can be used as often as required and is a valuable aid in controlling a wide range of external parasites. Spray directly onto the coat, massage well into the fur and down to the skin with gloved hands and leave to dry naturally. No need to rinse out the spray.

Some mites may remain stuck to the hair but will comb out.
